ArCADia EuroConnections is a collection of programs for steel connections design that allows you to design and verify the capacity of typical uniplanar frames & lattice connections in steel structures according to the PN-EN 1993-1-8:2006 standard.

Simple connection group

BEAM-TO-GIRDER simple connection + DXF – Design module for a beam-to-girder simple connections according to PN-EN 1993-1-8:2006 standard, with DXF drawing generation function.
EuroConnections BEAM-TO-GIRDER simple connection, welded or bolted, verification for sets of uniplanar internal forces, or the full bearing capacity of members.
The algorithm for verification of a connection in which both main members are connected via a fin plate or a girder web stiffener. The connection is one-sided (for one beam from one side of the girder), with various possible configurations. -
BEAM-TO-BEAM END PLATE connection + DXF – Design module for a beam-to-beam end plate connections according to PN-EN 1993-1-8:2006 standard, with DXF drawing generation function.
Connection type BEAM-TO-BEAM END PLATE connection, with plate stiffeners and haunches, bolted joint, verification for set of uniplanar internal forces, or the full bearing capacity of members.
The algorithm for verification of a connection in which two I-beam section beams (eg. girder) are connected using end plates attached to each of them, with various possible configurations. -
BEAM SPLICE connection + DXF – Design module for a beam splice connections according to PN-EN 1993-1-8:2006 standard, with DXF drawing generation function.
Connection type BEAM SPLICE with web splice plates and flange cover plates, welded or bolted, verification for sets of uniplanar internal forces, or the full bearing capacity of members.
The algorithm for verification of a connection in which both main members are connected via a beam web side plates and possibly beam flanges cover plates, with various possible configurations.

Connection type BEAM-TO-COLUMN END PLATE connection, with plate stiffeners and haunches, welded or bolted, verification for sets of uniplanar internal forces, or the full bearing capacity of members.
The algorithm for verification of a connection in which both main members are connected via the end plate or by means of direct welding. The connection is one-sided (for one beam from one side of the column), with various possible configurations. -

Connection type I-BEAM COLUMN BASE, fixed or pinned, for I-beam column sections, verification for sets of spatial internal forces, or the full bearing capacity of column cross-section. -
DOUBLE-BRANCH COLUMN BASE + DXF – Design module for a double-branch column base subjected to biaxial loading conditions according to PN-EN 1993-1-8:2006 standard, with a DXF drawing generation function.
Connection type DOUBLE-BRANCH COLUMN BASE, fixed or pinned, for build-up column sections composed of doubled I-beams or doubled C-sections, verification for sets of spatial internal forces, or the full bearing capacity of column cross-section. -
RECTANGULAR HOLLOW SECTION COLUMN BASE + DXF – Design module for a rectangular hollow section column base subjected to biaxial loading conditions according to PN-EN 1993-1-8:2006 standard, with DXF drawing generation function.
Connection type RECTANGULAR HOLLOW SECTION COLUMN BASE, fixed or pinned, for rectangular tubular column sections, verification for sets of spatial internal forces, or the full bearing capacity of column cross-section. -
CIRCULAR HOLLOW SECTION COLUMN BASE + DXF – Design module for a circular hollow section column base subjected to biaxial loading conditions according to PN-EN 1993-1-8:2006 standard, with DXF drawing generation function.
